Major works
We carry out planned major works to maintain and improve our housing stock. Major works any are substantial works, including repair, redecoration, replacement or improvements made to your property, building or estate. Works will vary from block to block and is dependent on a detailed survey of each block.
These works can include:
- roofs
- windows
- lifts
- front entrance and communal doors
- controlled entry systems
- painting and decorating
- fabric repairs
- ground source heating
- kitchen and bathroom renewal
- electrical rewires
- heating system renewal
- fire safety works, including sprinklers, fire alarm systems and fire stopping
- estate improvements
- energy efficiency improvements
There are 3 stages of planned major works projects:
- Planning
- On-site
- Completed (currently in the defects period)
Leaseholder consultation and charges
Where work is going to cost more than £250 per leasehold flat, you will be consulted before the work begins. You will receive a Notice of Intention outlining the works that we intend to carry out.
